Gold doeling with white spots, looks just like Buttercup. Quiet, undemanding, with a refreshingly soft and polite 'maa'. Jeanette freshened for the first time this year with a personable little boy. He was not in the world two minutes before he wanted to know how the farm is managed, what are our plans for the future, what's in the rest of the barn?
Jeanette's udder is improved from her dam Buttercup's, particularly in its finer texture, larger teats and stronger medial, so I think breeding to Julius was a good choice for her and for us. She's a pleasure to milk.
